DO NOT heat the empty kettle, it could be very dangerous
Be mindful not to make the fire go beyond the diameter of the base as it can damage the stainless steel teakettle body.
Having the flame just a bit below the base size will help you optimize radiant heat from the flame reaching the handle, thereby allowing it to quickly cool down once the stovetop is turned off.
We do not recommend fill water above the spout, the whistle doesn't work and it adds the risk of overflow when the water boils
Althought the handle is heat proof, we still recommend to wait 5-10 seconds before you lift the kettle or use a potholder.
ABOUT LIMESCALE Different areas have different water quality, and poor water quality is more likely to form scale (similar to rust).
